These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to your use of saltybooksbookkeeping.com and to the text messages and emails you receive from Salty Books Bookkeeping & Tax (“Salty Books,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using this website or opting in to our messages, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

1. Information on this website

The content on this website is general information about bookkeeping, payroll, and tax topics. It is not accounting, tax, legal, or financial advice for your specific situation. Please talk with us or another qualified professional before acting on it.

2. Our services

Using this website, submitting a form, booking a consultation, or exchanging messages with us does not create a client relationship. We begin work only after we both sign an engagement agreement, and that agreement governs the services we provide, our fees, and each party’s responsibilities. If these Terms and an engagement agreement conflict, the engagement agreement controls.

3. Text messaging program

Program. Salty Books Bookkeeping & Tax text messages.

What we send. Customer care and appointment messages, such as consultation confirmations, reminders, and replies to your questions, plus account and service notices. If you separately agree to marketing texts, we may also send occasional news and offers.

How you opt in. By checking the text messaging consent box on one of our forms, texting us first, or giving us written permission. Consent is not required to buy any service.

Frequency. Message frequency varies based on your appointments and requests.

Costs. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.

Opt out. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages. We will send one final message confirming you have been unsubscribed. To start again, reply START or opt in again.

Help. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at 435-932-0312 or info@saltybooksbookkeeping.com.

Carriers. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Eligibility. You must be at least 18 years old and the account holder or an authorized user of the mobile number you provide. If you change or give up that number, please tell us or reply STOP from it.

Privacy. We do not share mobile numbers or text messaging opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy for details.

4. Email

By giving us your email address, you agree to receive emails related to your request or our services. Any promotional email includes an unsubscribe link.
